IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND OTHER SUCH THINGS

What is this site?

The purpose of this site is to host my webcomic/webnovel (I tend to get a bit "verbalicious" as a friend has once described, and crave the precision of both the written word and drawn image), Rewritten in the Stars. The site and the comic are both heavily works in progress. I haven't actually started posting the comic yet because I want the site to be finished, and to have a decent-sized buffer for my planned upload schedule before I do. Also, I'm a terminal perfectionist and will probably revise my script like eight more times before I actually start drawing pages because I know the feeling of regret I'll get if I look back on the early pages in the future and realize there was something I could have conveyed better, or that I accidentally created a critical plothole will be crushing, and, while it is inevitable, that doesn't mean I shouldn't still try to mitigate it by examining and polishing my script as thoroughly as I can.

What is "Rewritten in the Stars" About?

My extremely cryptic plot summary:

Note: This comic is very much intended for teenage audiences and up. It contains violence, some (albeit pretty light) gore, and some vulgar language, as well as depictions of sensitive topics that may require trigger warnings, and that parents may not want their kids to see. I'd give it a hard PG-13 rating (ignoring the F-word rule because that rule is dumb). When I start uploading the comic, I will add a chapter-by-chapter list of potential triggers and find a way to forewarn people before viewing specific pages.

Who are you?

My full government name is Cheeseworth Ronald Reginald John Josh Steve Alucard McDude, and I like drawing, writing, and putting the fake people I made up in my head into progressively more and more convoluted Situations as a way to ease my existential malaise and maybe yours, too, if my chimerical fusions of words and images are presented in such a way as to allow you to see a piece of yourself reflected within them, as though through an arcane an incidentally functioning mirror. Or. You know. If you just find them interesting to look at. Whatever works for you. If my story sounds interesting to you, you can explore it some more by looking at the character and world pages. If you want to ask me questions about it, you can send me an ask on Tumblr. I also post art on there that doesn't go on this website, like character sheets, non plot-relevant lore, and sketches. I know Tumblr is not the most widely-used website nowadays, but it's there if you also use it, and I'm afraid I lack the patience for most other social media sites (and that they lack the versatility for both yapping and art).
